SummaryThere are a few different ways to close a session on a timed ticket for a particular day or days. This article will describe how you can do this through your ticketing management console.

Method 1: Set the “Stop Selling At” filter to *** NOW ***

Log into the management console and navigate to the product detail page of the product that you want to edit. Click on the Click Here to Add/Edit/View Season Dates and Capacities link. This will take you into the scheduler.

Next, select the session from the list of sessions at the bottom of the scheduler. Just click on the numbered link in the first column. This will load the session into the form at the top of the page.
 



In the form, click on the “Stop Selling At” drop-down field. Scroll to the option “*** NOW ***” and select it. Finally, click on the submit button. You will notice that the session becomes labelled as “UNAVAILABLE”.

Method 2: Delete the session

Repeat the steps described in Method 1 above to get to the scheduler. Select the session you want to delete and then click on the “DELETE” button to the right of the “Session Name” field.
 

NOTE: The system will not allow you to delete a session that already has purchases made for that session. Keep this in mind if you use this method. If the session does already have purchases and capacity allocated to it, then try Method 3 below.
 
 
 
Method 3: Set the Capacity to Sold Out
 
Instructions

Repeat the steps described in Method 1 above to get to the scheduler. Select the session that you want to set to “Sold Out“ so it loads in the top of the form.
 

In the “Capacity” field, insert the number of total sold for that session. This will make the Capacity equal to the quantity sold and make the session sold out. Click on the submit button and you will notice that the status of the session will be labelled as “Sold Out”.
 
 
 


 
Method 4: Close the Session via the “Daily Timed Ticket” Report

Log into your management console and click on the “Daily Timed Ticket” report under the section “Orders & Reporting”
 

In the “Arrival Date” filter, choose the date of the session that you want to close.

Next, choose the option “Inventory Counters” from the “Source” drop-down list and then click on the “Search button”
 

This will return all the sessions for that given arrival date.

Locate the session you want to close and then click on the “Close” button on the very right.
 

NOTE: This will permanently close the session
