Closing Shifts
  1. CashCount Column: This is the actual count entered at the open and close of the shift.  The full amount including opening balance.
  2. CashCalc Column: This is the final count as calculated by the computer.
  3. Cash Over/Under Column: This is the difference between the actual cash calculated and the cash calculated.  By approving the shift, then that count is finalized.
  4. If you need to modify the count because of an error on the cashier count, then use the Modify button, enter the correct cash close and any notes that you wish to make.

Troubleshooting
  1. There will be a button that says “Forced Close” if the cashier forgot to enter the closing cash.  If you click that you can enter the final closing cash and reconcile that till.
  2. If you have any issues specific to one cashier sales, then use the Payment report to find the detail of sales into the POS.
