Using a Gift Card for Online Orders
When a customer gets to the checkout page, they can click on the checkbox labelled "Do you wish to use a Gift Certificate?"
When the customer selects the checkbox to use a Gift Certificate, the page will reload and the customer can enter the Gift Card information to pay for the order. The Certificate No. is the barcode number of the Gift Card. The Confirmation No. is the Order Number of the gift card. These numbers can be found on the card or print at home certificate. If the cost of the order is less than the value stored on the Gift Card, the balance will remain on the Gift Card when the transaction completes. If the cost of the order is more than the value stored on the Gift Card, then the customer will need to pay the remaining balance with another gift card or another form of payment.
Using a Gift Card for POS Box Office Orders
Cashiers can enter Gift Card numbers on the Payment Page of the POS Box Office. The POS will validate the number and accept the Gift Card as method of payment as long as their is sufficient funds stored on the Gift Card. If the cost of the order is less than the value stored on the Gift Card, the balance will remain on the Gift Card when the transaction completes. If the cost of the order is more than the value stored on the Gift Card, then the customer will need to pay the remaining balance with another gift card or another form of payment.
Using a Gift Card for POS FBR Orders
In the FBR application, you can click on the Gift Card button in the Payment Options. This will bring up a modal allowing the cashier to enter the Gift Card number to make payment. If the cost of the order is less than the value stored on the Gift Card, the balance will remain on the Gift Card when the transaction completes. If the cost of the order is more than the value stored on the Gift Card, then the customer will need to pay the remaining balance with another gift card or another form of payment.
